In his second steampunk detective fantasy series, The Cursed Mage Case Files, the main character suffered a severe setback which landed him in unemployment. Not long afterward, PH found himself working through severe “brain fog” that landed him in unemployment.
He really identifies with his characters.
Now, he’s on the comeback trail with additional books for The Cursed Mage Case Files on the horizon. Four additional first in series books are already drafted and he’s planning a follow-up series to The Bow of Hart Saga.
