Annalisa Russo is a Midwest girl who grew up in an overpopulated, first-generation Italian family in the burbs of Chicago, the setting for her 20th century romance novels. Her series, La Famiglia, chronicles the lives of Italian immigrants in the 1920’s and 30’s. Two of Annalisa's historical romances have won the distinguished International Digital Award. She also has a 4-book Christmas series of sweet contemporary romance: A Green Earth Christmas, and a how-to series called the Non-Negotiables, books on writing and publishing. Her latest endeavor is a cozy mystery series called the Archibald Lemon Boarding House Mysteries set in Chicago 1927 featuring Watson, a lovable bloodhound, who may become your favorite amateur sleuth. Books 1 & 2 are out now, and she is busy working on A Murder in Disguise, the third in the series, due out in early 2025.
Along with a passion for reading and writing, Annalisa enjoys gardening, cooking for company, and frequently invents reasons for traveling. The mother of three grown children, she inherited a narcissistic tabby named Buster who really runs the show.
