Just like a heroine in a romance novel, Kate grew up in a small town, headed out into the wide world for her studies, and eventually ended up back home. She’s been interested in storytelling ever since she was young and had to walk to and from school alone every day; during the walks, she’d make up stories about magic, adventure, and teenage drama.
She wrote down her first story—an unholy child of Jane Eyre and Amanda Quick’s books—during high school, and started writing properly during college, when the idea for Time Watcher was born.
Nowadays, she’s a small business owner, and using her degree in Fashion Design to do way too much research into what her characters would be wearing. When she’s not working or writing, she likes to play D&D and pretend she’s the next Masterchef in the kitchen.
