About the Author

• David is a Zen teacher, life coach, landscape gardener, grandfather and author. He has been practicing Zen for over 40 years and is a transmitted Zen Master in both the Soto and Rinzai traditions. Along with his wife, Melissa Blacker, he is one of the founding teachers of Boundless Way Zen in Worcester, MA (and on Zoom). David has also been an improvisational dancer, aikido teacher, professional potter, workshop leader, and independent school headmaster. His wisdom, humor, and loving presence shine through in his speaking, writing, and being.
