About the Author

Ray Bradbury once wrote, “Gregory Miller is a fresh new talent with a great future.” His first two collections of stories, “Scaring the Crows” and “On the Edge of Twilight,” received excellent critical recognition for small press publications, and two of the story-chapters in “The Uncanny Valley: Tales from a Lost Town,” the first book in ‘The Uncanny Chronicles,’ made Ellen Datlow’s Best Horror of the Year list in 2010 and 2011. Its sequel, “Darkness in the Valley,” Miller’s first major novel, was published in January 2016. All of the covers (and many of the interiors) of Miller's books are illustrated by artist John Randall York. A high school English teacher, Miller currently lives in Pittsburgh.
