sa totoong Dios ay magsikilala.

Magandang adhicang lubos na panimdim
ni Clotilde'y di co lubhang pasayurin,
ang Condeng nagbigay nang regalong sinsing
ay napaalam nang toua ay sabihin.

Nang siya'y dumating sa Reyno n~g Francia
ang uica sa Hari icaw po'y magsayá,
pagca't ang larawan mo po'y tinangap na
nang pinaglacbay cong irog mong Infanta.

Lugod ay sabihin nang Haring si Clovis
ang cay Aurellanong uica'y nang madin~gig,
at biglang napaui sa caniyang dibdib
yaong calumbayang di icatahimic.

Ipinatauag nang lahat ang guinoo
sa sacop nang Corte nang caniyang Reyno,
dumating na lahat naman sa palacio
yaong tanang piling man~ga Caballero.

Sa Haring cay Clovis nang maharap sila
(aniya) ay cayo'y caya co pinita,
gumayac n~gayon din cayong para-para
at mag si paroon sa Reynong Borgonya.

Ipamanhic niniyo sa cay Agabundos
na Hari, nang boong pacumbabang loob,

The story of St. Clothilde is retold in this Tagalog poem written in 1917. St. Clothilde was instrumental in converting her husband King Clovis into Christianity. Clovis was convinced of the truth of Christianity after winning a battle with his enemies after praying to "Clotilde's God" and promising to be baptized if victory was his.
