Not withstanding the fairy tale ending , this is a well written story; the pace is fast and intruguing - all the characters stand out very well projecting what they stand for. The story of a young man who steps into his father's shoes and learns to manage and run a clothespin mill , gradually proving himself a worthy successor above all standing for those noble values of comradeship; willing to fight for justice ; not giving up hope against all odds; the naivety of youth; resourceful and above all courageous to stand for what is right , and there is of course girl (very ordinary to begin with) who had given up any possibility of joy and life , bored & seeking to run away the village for excitement. Then she transforms gradually and blossoms into a woman who stands up for her love against all odds.
