The author of this book was so concerned about getting the point of her book across that she forgot to make an enjoyable story.

Very interesting story about a girl trying to throw off the bounds of society and be free.
The Melting of Molly is a sweet tale. Molly is amusing main character, and it is charming story.
Very different than Jane Austen's other works, but none the less delightful.
One of the best books ever written. the only problem is that Jane Austen wrapped it up too quickly at the end.
I love this book, it is one of my favorites. I've read it over many times and it has not lost it charm.
I like this book very much it kept my interest to the end. It was written right after world war one, and this book shows the difference between the old Edwardian way of things, and the new era that it coming with a younger generation that have a different way of viewing things.
What a great story of true love! The author put in some good twists.
It was interesting as a study of the time, and the ideas people had. As a story I found that the plot was rather enjoyable, but the author did not trouble herself to be a bit realistic.
One of my favorite books. It is as good as Jane Austen. It made me laugh and cry. As soon as I was done with it, I went and looked up the rest of Florence L. Barclay's books and all of them I could find.
