Very good spy story with believable details of Gibraltar in 1914. Not as clichéd as many such books of the period and the plot is exciting. It's a real page turner.

This is a terrific book, written in a lively, conversational and modern style, despite having been written almost a century ago.

What a great true story of bravery and endurance - with a lot of humanity, too.
