Confidence

by Henry James

Wonderfull reading! I was looking for some Jane Austen-style author and this book was a great surprise! Henry James wrote so many others and it will be a good sort of entertainment for those who appreciate a good picture of human nature and psychological analysis of the subjects. I am already reading The Portrait of a Lady wich seams to be excelent too.

War and Peace

by Leo Tolstoy

This is one of the best books I've ever read. I would like to see it on that list of "books you have to read before you die".

The author is brilliant when he describes human nature in all its peculiarities, he shows the very inner from his subjects and he can get the soul of russian people.

Despite the fact that I aprecciated mostly when it was peace time, the way he explains the motives of, why the war is happening?, is so interesting that this book is a classic that remains so updated nowadays.
