About the Author

Ruth Barron has been in the insurance industry for over thirty years. As a working mother and aspiring author, she wrote children's books, but was too busy with work and family to have them published. Extensive traveling, spending time with friends and social activities, and connecting with her clients gave Ms. Barron a deep understanding of life's ups and downs and the human condition. Ms. Barron earned an MBA and has been considered a savvy business woman, but also has a passion for and an understanding of history.

Many of the events in the books come from her personal experience of raising two sons who were involved in music, scouting, debate clubs, sports, and more.
