Excellent 1896 travelogue of a journey to and through the continent of Australia. I usually don't read alot of non-fiction,but this book just pulled me in. There's alot of interesting annecdotes about people, along with some history of the Austalian colonies. This book was part of a series of travel books for boys, but it's just as enjoyable a read for adults.
