Bhagwad Jal Park’s book reviews

One of the best books I have ever read. A fantastic eye opener to the underlayers of society. You are introduced to disillusionment over and over again as the book progresses and I believe that every person should read this book - if nothing else but to see their own reflection in the pages

A marvelous character analysis of a courtesan called Camille. I've always known that authors are the best psychoanalysts in the world, and Dumas shows his skill by accurately penetrating the pscyhe of the girl whose name is the title of this book.

One of the greatest books I have ever read, and one of the few books that have moved me even too deeply for tears.

This book will leave you feeling sad, peaceful, thoughtful, and above all, more sensitive.

It does have some VERY long passages (sometimes spanning a hundred pages or so) on the history of France and architecture, the sewers etc, and this can be intimidating to a lot of people. I honestly think that readers can skip these sections and not lose anything of the flavor of the book.
