A very interesting storyline, ruined by an author who had no idea how to handle plot and some of the finer details of writing. The end totally fizzles out, leaving you wondering what the author was trying to achieve.

A strangely written story of a planet with a predicting machine. Because of a prediction, an assassin is sent to kill an Earth scientist.
Details are only vaguely described: A man is walking down the road (no other details about him), two men are killed (no other details.) The story has a nice twist at the end, but seemed like a puppet show--no one has much characterization, they behave the way they're supposed to.
