In high school, I recall having to read Jane Austen against my will and finding it to be quite boring. Imagine my surprise when, many years later, I decide to give her books another shot. Jane Austen was a remarkable characterization artist. The characters remain true to their original writing even if the language and setting are changed. It's difficult to top Austen's cunning, subversive social commentary. The pleasure in reading Emma lies not in the core storyline but rather in the way Austen parodies the social mores prevalent in her era. I got to read it from shabd.in and kindle

They set out together, not without hesitation. Despite the hardships of surviving in a remote log cabin, everything goes smoothly. Olivia believes that her unfulfilled romantic interest in their young, single neighbor is the root of her problems, as she is unable to acknowledge her feelings for Mourning.

Over all, the book was worth it, but I also tried to find it on other platforms too, but I didn't get it. I think this should get published on other online platforms like Apple Books, Kindle, Pothi, and Shabd.in so it can reach more people.

All of them, though, are made to suspect murder when their father's secrets come to light in the weeks following his passing. Was it a fit of rage that caused one of them to snap? Or did someone eventually have enough after being taken advantage of and hurt by him for so long?
