Fantastic story, grest idea using nanotech to terraform a world. Something goesd wrong and humans are no longer able to communicate or control the technology and it takes on a life of its own.

I do not understand how this book is getting such a high rating. Too much of the book is taken up with B-movie style lovie-dovey talk and Sylviana is more like a 1950s caricture of a woman. Why does the commnader of the NASA crew sound like he escaped from the 1950s as well? Also so much is left unresolved, what is the story with "the aliens" and the ability to talk to the Sun? Had the potential to be a great story but poorly put together.

Rating: two stars for the idea behind the book.

Great story but read as if Google Translate had converted it from French or some other language. What ever happened to spell check, grammer and paragraphs. You run straight from one character into another and have to backtrack to figure out who you are reading about.

Could have been five star but only worth two as is.

Disappointing story, ends very abruptly.

A fantastic story. Its hard to believe back in 1909 that the author predicted an internet of sorts. Pity this was never made into a film like Metropolis was.

I liked the idea of the storey but struggled to get past the first 30 pages and failed.

A great story, impossible to put down. Only niggly thing was what happened to Starr after she was captured by the Fenrites? Other than that a great story.

Fantastic read. Couldn't ignore this book, kept getting pulled back to my screen :) Exciting, fun read.

Great read. Highly recommend this. Similar theme to Little Brother by Cory Doctorow but different perspective.

Parker Pace - A Psychological Thriller That is Probably Going to Mess With Your Head
FEATURED AUTHOR - Parker Pace was born in the UK, but Seattle is her home. More than anything, she loves to read. Give her a good book, and she doesn't care about the rest. She also loves live musicals and the theater. It fascinates her to see a story come to life. For her, there’s nothing like it in the world. The last musical she saw was Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. They don’t play that one as much as they used to, but it has a beautiful score and she highly recommends it.  As our Author of the day, Parker tells… Read more
