About the Author

Tova Aviram¬-Zylberg is a published Israeli author, essayist, teacher, and educator. Tova grew up in the small city of Givatayim near Tel Aviv, where she spent her childhood running barefoot on Shenkin Street and climbing mulberry trees that grew in the wadi near her house.
After completing her BA in comparative literature at Tel Aviv University, Aviram-Zylberg moved to Washington, where she completed her MA in English Literature at the University of Maryland and Theater Studies at the Uta Hagen Studio in New York.
Today, Aviram-Zylberg is an English and drama lecturer at WIZO and Gordon colleges in Haifa. She was the founder and head of the drama department at WIZO High School for the Arts for twenty years.
She is a mother of two and a grandmother of three. She lives in Israel.
