Blue Girl

Blue Girl
Emma Gracie
In 1997, I was flung into nursing. I’ve witnessed births, deaths and all that lies in between. I’ve been exhausted, heartbroken and sexually assaulted. I’ve anguished over children who aren’t mine and battled an illness that forced me to be the patient. But I've had a blast. I’ve met and learned from characters I can't forget. I’d love you to meet them and read the stories that made me Blue Girl.

About the Author

Just before I turned 16 I unexpectedly entered the world of nursing. This led to a varied career, mainly outside of the hospital setting. I wanted to preserve the wonderfully varied patients I've cared for so wrote my first book, a memoir called Blue Girl: Nursing Beyond the Ward.
