About the Author

Penn Wallace is the author of #1 bestselling political satire, Christmas Inc. His first book, Blue Water & Me is a memoir about commercial fishing with his father.

The Ted Higuera Series, about a young Latino security analyst, jump started Penn’s career. He recently added the Catrina Flaherty Mysteries to his list.

If Chevy Chase had played Indiana Jones, he would be Penn Wallace. He has a thirst for adventure, but nothing ever seems to go exactly as planned. A Hemmingwayesque, adventurer Penn lives on his sailboat as he sails around the world looking for new adventures about which to write.

After his wife died from ovarian cancer, Penn decided that life should be lived for today, you never know if tomorrow will come.

In 2010 he purchased a 56-foot sailboat and spent the next two and a half years rebuilding the Victory, then left his career as a software engineer to set sail for the warm blue waters of Baja California.

Along the way, he acquired a gorgeous blonde and her Great Dane. Together they sailed down the Pacific Coast of the United States, from Canada to Mexico and cruised the Sea of Cortez for two years.

His stories of living on a sail boat with a giant dog, “Great Dane on Board,” have been his most popular blog posts. You can read his blog at www.pennwallace.com.

Penn just spent four months living in the jungles of Panama. Look for the location in a new Catrina Flaherty novel.
