I began my writing career in 1990 as a freelance writer for a now-defunct magazine in Houston, Tx. In 2017, I decided to try indie publishing over traditional publishing because the former allows me to have creative control over projects I’ve spent years nurturing. It’s a judgment call every author will have to make. There is a ton of responsibility involved. What works for one author may not work for others. But I’m a firm believer that no life experience is ever wasted, so channel your passion, hone your skills, harness your creative energy, and birth that brainchild into existence!
