In spite of several teachers in high school and early college telling me that my way-out stories were too impossible, and that I should only to write about things i had experienced, I continued to write science fiction, and sold a novelette before I finished college. Since then have I published many other stories, two science fiction novels, two political/medical thrillers, as well as almost 200 medical articles and chapters. I hope my previous teachers would approve of these! I am a Lifetime Active Member of Science Fiction/Fantasy Writers of America and International Thriller Writers, as well as a practicing physician.
