The Viking's Lover: A Historical Romance

Eda has heard much of the fearsome Viking raiders, but until now she has never experienced their terror first hand. In an attempt to stave off an otherwise devastating raid, her father Eldric, a noble of the kingdom of Northumbria, makes a trade with the Viking chief Hakon; a parcel of land and the hand of his only child in exchange for leaving them in peace.
