Michael Lacey is the bad guy in his own book. Well, not really, but they’re each missing an eye . . . close enough. This has given him a very unique perspective on life. Coming from the rich writing heritage of Mississippi, Michael writes fiction and non-fiction in hopes to inspire and stretch people mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
His non-fiction work comes from his decade of experience leading worship. Michael believes that people need encounters with God—the ultimate creator—to experience life change. As a creator himself, Michael loves to dream and then act on those dreams. He also teaches college math, so it makes sense that he loves order and resolution, which you’ll find in his writing amidst the occasional chaos.
On most days, you can find Michael with a mason jar of sweet tea by his side while his toddler son runs him and his wife ragged. By writing consistently, Michael is working towards a life where he can spend more time each day with his soon-to-be growing family.
