About the Author

Professional MMA fighter Marcus Kowal originally hails from Sweden but has lived and worked in England, Germany, France, and Mexico. He is a second-degree black belt of Krav Maga and is one of the lead instructors in the United States. He has also been named Sportsman of the Year. Kowal received his degree from the University of Kent Canterbury. He is an entrepreneur and business owner.

Kowal and his family were struck with an unimaginable tragedy. He hopes that his memoir will help parents coping with similar grief.
